CHC50113 Diploma Of Early Childhood Education And Care

Student Entry Requirements
  • Be 18 years old or over
  • Complete a Langauge Literacy and Numeracy assessment
  • Have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • Able to provide a Police check with no disclosure
  • Able to provide a Working with Children check
  • Able to complete a First Aid Course (HLTAID004 Provide an
    Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
    before the students commence the required work placement).
  • Able to complete 440 hours of work placement
  • Have access to a computer with an internet connection
Work Placement MGIT has a list of suitable childcare centres which can accommodate MGIT students while they complete their mandatory work placement hours. MGIT will assist the student in finding suitable work placement in the event that the list MGIT has at present does not meet a student’s situation, e.g. location.
First Aid Certificate (HTLAID004 Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting) A prospective student may complete their HLTAID004 with another RTO provider or may opt to do it with H and A Training, RTO90871.
Price Course Fee: $8000 (includes text books valued at $594)
Mode of Payment Students have the option of:

Duration  1 year for full time studies, 2 years for part-time studies
Location Face to Face student classes will be held at our Parramatta Campus

Pathways into this qualification A prospective student has completed a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, working in the child care industry, or has completed Year 12 or equivalent.

Pathways into Future qualification Merage Global Institute Of Technology – 91798 has approved articulation arrangements with Southern Cross University (SCU), recognising the learning students complete within CHC50113 Diploma Of Early Childhood Education And Care for entry into the first or second year of a related SCU course, with maximum credit for prior learning.
